So thr car broke down and had to get shipped to garage. Would not crank at all. Nothing... the starter was knackered so had it replaced and still getting cracking time exceeded when trying to fire from butto . Will fire up using direct power to the new starter the but code won't clear thus wont crank from the button. The battery had been sat for a few years and was going dead after about 5 mins of just the ignition being on so is this now a Dead battery as well? Have taken out to leave on charge over weekend to see if that helps clear the code and give the old battery enough juice for next week fingers crossed
