Mostly interested in the top part, where the actual coil part connects with the rest of it.

I ordered a used one from amazon. I am going to see if I can replace the spring with a small copper tube to increase voltage to plugs and make it easier on the coil.
I did this on my Chevy Colorado, it worked well and no static or hum on radio.
