I have a 2015 mustang go with a 6 speed. Yesterday I drove my car to the store and when I came out the car would not crank or try to turnover. The dash read “press clutch pedal to start”. When I looked under the dash I saw the clutch Saftey or starter Saftey switch was dis connected. I must have kicked it with my foot. I Re connected it and it started right up. This morning I went out to my car again and same issue but the switch is not dis connected. If I kick the clutch a few times and really stand in it it will turn over but it’s not a definite thing. Sometimes it takes 3,4,5 try’s. I ordered a new switch in hopes that the contacts are bad in the old one. Anybody else have this issue? Was that the problem? and did a new switch fix it? If not is there something else I should be looking at? Thanks I’m advance

had this exact same problem. i ordered a new switch and it works first time every time so im pretty sure that was the case. only issue i have now is i have to get it to mount back on the same way and mine seems loose so even with the new switch it wont turn over sometimes so ive just left the switch hanging loose and push the switch by hand, depress the clutch and then start the car until i can mount it back up solid.
