I've always used a newspaper (Daily Record or Sun) with Methylated Spirits to get the windscreen clean, inside and outside. Got a bit of a nasty smell but goes away pretty quickly.

I had a serious misting up problem with my Focus when I bought it a few years ago. Used shaving cream on the inside of the windows while it took Ford 6 months to find the problem. By the way, I also use shaving cream on all my mirrors in the bathroom at home - no misting up whatsoever:D. Wipe it on and used microfibre cloth to give it a quick buff.
Bloody hell, I only have the Mail on Sunday!

Yeh, I do the shaving foam on bathroom mirrors thing. May try i=on the inside of car. Giving it until the weekend to try the best sounding ideas

Misting up on the inside
Not as much a problem but still kin annoying sometimes.

I HATE an mist at all on the screen and sometimes I get a little haze at the bottom of the screen on the inside. I try aircon on, aircon off, heat on, heat off and there never seems to be the one way to clear it.

Sometimes I will get it and a little bit of aircon makes it go away instantly. Other times it makes it worse. And it gets me in a serious bad mood. Makes me want to get out and beat the car with a branch....but then I look at her and realise I could never harm my beauty!
I had this problem in an old car, and it turned out one of the door seals had gone so when it rained water got in and made the carpets wet. God knows how long it had been happening for, it wasn't a major issue, but enough to keep ther inside of the car damp and misty - even with the aircon on. Probably unlikely on a new car, but worth checking!

Hope not. I would be retired and dumped in a care home before the parts come

G6 in and out each time you wash the car also clean the rubber on the wiper with the cloth, had no trouble also use the same method on our sprinter vans.
