Last week I installed my clean side catch can to add to my DVCC. Later that day I've been hearing squealing in the engine bay which I thought was a pulley or belt. I took my clean side off today and no squeal. As soon as I disconnected the hose from the valve cover from the catch can it stopped. I will be getting in touch with UPR to find out exactly what the deal is but I was wondering if anyone was having the same issue as me or am I alone. The video link shows what the squealing sounds like while I was trying to isolate where the sound was coming from.

That squeal is from the crankcase being vapor locked as it sounds like a line is backwards or something is not routed properly. I see that very often and the fix is just to make sure the check valve are all facing away from the catch can. You can also blow through the lines to make sure they all free flow. For the line with the check valve it should be disconnected from the catch can and you can blow through it towards the engine.

Here is a link to the diagram for the routing as well.

All noises went away when I installed the revised pcv from ford. arrows are all facing the correct way but I'll blow through the line to make sure
