Changing speakers out

ok So i have a 2018 premium plus ... i plan on changing out the speakers and adding an aftermarket amp. My questions is do speakers just bolt in or is a spacer needed?

It will depend on the size of the replacement speakers... particularly if they are deeper than the factory speakers.
