I think Mercedes or BMW has a similar system being mounted that high it's probably for dry sump cars

I think in the video it said Aston Martin was testing it. I really like the idea of no mess, a much better chance of actually people recycling. I can see this working kinda as a battery core charge sort of thing. Plus I could see Manufacturers using it as weight distribution as it could be mounted anywhere on the car. Great idea IMHO!!!

D*mn good idea. No more reaching around and over things to get to a filter and no spilling it onto the floor. Which is closely followed by loud, horribly ABRASIVE language.
