Hello all. Here's the Canadian 50th L.E. model availability numbers. My dealer, Eastgate Ford in Hamilton (the best in the greater GTA, real Mustang enthusiasts and not afraid of performance mods) sent it to me this afternoon to keep me in the loop:
125 are coming to the Great White North.
6 will be held back by Ford Canada to accommodate "oops" issues on confirmed purchases (eg. damaged in transit).
51 will go to SVT and high volume (2012/2013) Mustang dealers.
68 will be doled out via lottery to the remaining 371 qualified dealers (i.e they've sold at least 1 Mustang 2012/2013) if they wish to participate.
17 dealers who sold not one Mustang (2012/2013) will get not one L.E. nor will they be allowed to participate in the Lottery. How the hell does that happen???
Bottom line...only 1 L.E. per dealer. And no "plans" for this one btw.
Seems like the Limited 50th will truly be "limited" up here. Good luck to everyone who wants one. I'm first in line at my dealership but as I explained in my "Introduce Yourself" post, if the price isn't right the alternative is a spec'd out GT in Ingot. Either way, I think I win.
