So...being a mustang guy since 97 I have only used SCT; was told to try the dark side with Cobb tuning and I was hesitant but wow..received the MAP CAI, DP, cat back and Cobb AP Friday and the Cobb AP is light years ahead of the X4 at least with regard to the packaging, size, color display, presentation, etc.

Just did the updates and waiting until tomorrow when Adam sends me my custom tune!

So...if I can change...you can change...we all can change, lol!

I just installed the Cobb OTS APV-3 stage 1 93 octane and omg did it wake this car up! With all the talk about whose tune is best really had me concerned, but I chose Cobb and I can't get this frigging grin off my face today!!! If any of the OTS tunes can perform as well as Cobb's, then pick your potion and enjoy your new car for the 2nd time.
Caution, will cause constant grins.
Greg, didn't mean to highjack your thread, congrats on the car and all the toys!

I can't wait for the tracks to open so we can show some others what a Cobb can do.

Rocky 4 quotes FTW:headbang:

I've used SCT on my 2014 GT and Cobb on many other cars - Cobb is far superior in my opinion as well:cheers:

Haha ok Rocky! Did you run sct tune on this car? I'd definitely like to hear how it goes with Cobb since you have a lot of previous sct experience.

Words like far superior are pretty extreme, what are some things you see as superior? I have no experience but SCT. Thanks

I did not; I was all set to go with Torrie/Unleashed via the SCT route and after a lot of research/discussion I decided to sell the X4 and do the Cobb thing.

For the V8 world I would use SCT no questions asked but the EB world is a lot different as I am rapidly learning.

I'd like to hear how it goes for you. I went with sct just because like you that's all I have ever used. I definitely agree the EB world is a lot different.

I'm not a tuner by trade but I can assure you data logging alone is enough to set the Cobb device on another level than SCT

I'm not trying to sway anyone one way or the other but for me, I've had both and know what I prefer.
