I'm not sure if they are removable, are they?

Good to know as I have one bad toggle, I was assuming the board, but I might take it apart now and see if maybe I just have bad contacts. I would think you would have to find the whole unit in a junk yard or something as I don't think that is a part that can be bought from Ford.

These switches are the hardest thing to find, I had to end up buying a new radio cover

That's what I figured you would have to do. I'm waiting for Hextall to get more bezels and I'm going to get another from him.

You can sometimes find bezel assemblies on LKQ's online parts search tool.

I've refurbished a lot of these bezels. The 2015-17 bezels and toggle switch assemblies were different from the 2018+ units (on the 2018+ the black plastic bars between the toggle switches are molded into the bezel, but on 2015-17 the bars are part of the toggle assembly and the bezel opening has no bars as shown in the above post - see attached pics of a 2015-17 toggle assembly). I've never found just the toggle assembly for sale separately. The toggle assembly is just a bunch of little plastic parts with a rubber mat on the back, and the mat contacts the circuit board.

If you want to investigate to see if maybe just one of the little plastic tabs has broken off inside the toggle assembly, you can remove it this way:
1) Remove the back cover of the bezel assembly (Torx screws)
2) Carefully remove the main circuit board (more Torx screws)
3) The HVAC controls, toggle assembly, and radio controls are all separate units with rubber mats on the back. Pay attention when you lift them out of the bezel, they overlap each other in a certain manner.

Good luck!
