Did you try rotating the bulb? I've heard some are direction specific.

Did you try rotating the bulb? I've heard some are direction specific.
The bulb orientation shouldn't blow the fuse though. The problem is, that bulb is very difficult to get in with the tight space and weird angle. After replacing mine I wished I had left it alone. Most likely you have one of the pins on the bulb shorting the power to ground due to bulb placement. Start with the fuse pulled, it's very easy to short if there is power there when you are trying to seat the bulb, then make sure the bulb is seated properly should help.
