I like to think I got a good deal and maybe this will help someone who's in the market of a similar vehicle get a better idea of rebates, discounts etc.
So yesterday I purchased a 2018 Ecoboost. I travelled 325 miles to get this one although I live in Houston and there are so many dealers nearby. Their just wasn't any that was spec'd as I wanted and for the price I wanted. The options and MSRP are as follows:
-Ruby Red Metallic
-101A
-10 Speed Automatic
-Performance Package
-Enhanced Security
-All weather mats
MSRP: $33,580
2018 Mustang manufacture Rebate : -$3000
College Student Rebate: -$500
Ford financing rebate: -$500
Dealer Discount: -$3132
Total off MSRP: $7132
Total Price: $26,448
TT&L: ~$2000
OTD Price: ~$28,448
I put a big downpayment to minimize how much I could finance to avoid paying much towards interest.
