Hi all,

GT base with PP, I seem to get a lot of pull to passenger side under braking. Took it back to the dealer, he said it was the wide low profile tires on the road.

Car generally tracks a straight line without the brakes, on the same road when I brake it pulls. I figured I would throw it out here before heading it back to the dealer and making them road test it with me.

Thanks!

Tram Lining is the term I always used for that.

Has to do with the pattern in your tires and the way the belts are wearing. The grooves follow the unevenness in the pavement, in particular near stop lights where the asphalt is depressed from big trucks and things sitting, causing shallow troughs.

Some tires do it worse than others.

A test you can do is find a very hard concrete road, like new highway that is perfectly flat. Apply the brakes. If you still get a pull, you may have an issue. But I suspect you will be good to go.

Aren't the GT PP wheels and tires directional?
