hey guys just want to get an idea of who goes to Bradenton and when they go. Im there a lot probably once a month. I went last night to their test and tune night. it was quite a crowd. I figure we can use this thread to see when and who are going to their events at Bradenton and meet up. my best time in my gt pp was 12.621 at 114.94 with only bama tune and jlt intake. with a 2.140 60foot. so post yourself on this thread and talk a little and lets see if theres a night we can all meet up and run :cheers:

I missed last Thursday night but I went to the street heat night ( Sat night ) I like to go once or twice a month ...I'll going again as soon as I get my new half shafts installed and my drag radials on ...

I've been there once before to run my '13 this time last year, how are the love bugs on the ride there and back? Lol

the love bugs aren't bad right now lol but they will get bad in like june july. and im in the search for drag wheels right now. im thinking about putting on some old cobra R wheels that are 17x9 im just not sure if they will fit over my pp back brakes.

are you the orange 5.0 that comes in on the trailer with I think a white suv of some sort that pulls it. Im pretty sure way back in jan and feb I saw you there and you ran like 12.3's with your slicks. the only 2015's there were you (I think) a blue 5.0 and my black 5.0.

ill probably be going in mid may again. I have to save some money lol and I have some bills to pay right now haha. but do you guys think NT05R's could break half shafts? I mean bama had more power less weight and true MT drag slicks and they still made like 4 passes before they broke and they were launching at like 6k rpm. so im assuming I should be fine. lol (assuming)

I honestly cant wait to see you guys there though in the coming weeks and months. The first cold front of this year im going to go down there for sure and make real attempts to run in the 11's the only power mods I have done to the car are bama tune and jlt intake. I have about 200 pounds out of the car when I race it. no passenger seat or rear seat, engine bay is kinda striped, and so is the trunk, and I run on less than a 1/4 tank of fuel. all real easy weight reductions usually takes me all of 30 mins to do it all.

I use those wheels in the back with 26x11.5-17 et street. I have 24mm offsett 19x7 ford racing chrome cobra r wheel. Was also test fit on a 2011 GT.
If it's the original made in Usa or Japan not the copy they are also relatively light wheels. GT and GT PP rear brake are the same.

okay and good to know that means they will fit in the backs. I always thought the only difference in brakes from the pp and the non were just the front brakes.
