I live in Japan and my Ecoboost is EU/Asia Pacific spec just like Australian Mustangs.

I wonder if anybody in Australia has installed a BOV?
I was told that we can't use any of the current BOV offerings because our cars measure airflow differently.

I'm trying to confirm this, so I was wondering if anybody has done it or has any information on it...

Thanks!

You can fit the turbosmsrt dual port as it's the same for all ecoboost motors but I personally wouldn't. Because of the way the tune is done and it's low rpm boost it makes it sound like ass. I've got one in my focus ST and I hate the noise from it

I had that one on my focus ST and it worked perfectly. Let off a nice whoosh as soon as I got off the gas. It's all in the tune the way it performs, might be worthwhile looking into that

Its perfectly as in it will vent when off throttle, but the way the ecoboost motors are on part throttle it will also vent so on cruise control it would sound like an epic air leak going up inclines.

Interesting can't say I ever had that with mine. Might need to tighten it up so it takes more pressure to release

Thanks for the replies!
Epic air leaking sounds are the main reason I'm not going to get another CAI. I had the MMR intake on my Ecoboost in the States, but it was really annoying at part throttle. I was under the impression that BOVs wouldn't do this.
