Born on date by VIN?

Hey guys. A few years back I had a Ford Lightning. One of the big things over on the Lightning forums was having someone use your VIN number to give you information about your truck like the born on date and the build number and information like that. Does anybody know if there is a way to do this or somebody that can look this info up here on Mustang6g? I want to say for the Lightnings we sent somebody an email and they sent us the info back. Anybody heard of this before with the Mustangs?

It should be Vehicle tab, VIN entry. Build date.

Born on date and build number was specific to SVT vehicles only. I purchased a new 00 Lightning and a 01 Cobra.

I always thought it was on the top of your build sheet? Here's mine for example, which shows a date of October 26 2015. Is that not it?

The blend date was your estimated build date when your car was assigned a VIN. Could be a few days earlier, a few days later... but is a good estimate.
