I know some guys have the Borla and they sound great. That's actually my target exhaust.

I can only speak to the Corsa cat backs from personal experience. I have an automatic GT and if I drive fairly conservative they have a deep tone. When I put the car in Sport, Track, or down shift with the paddles as I slow they have a nice crackle/growl. The sound is loud at WOT. It is more high pitch at WOT. Like Bill said in a CJ Mustang video. It has an exotic sound to it at times. Zero drone which I like. With normal driving the exhaust is slightly louder and more aggressive than stock in a good way. My son and I installed our own. Fit and finish were superb and adjustments were minimal. If you are looking to compare Borla and Corsa. The Borla ATAK is more like the Corsa Extreme than the Sport.

sport catback has touring mufflers, which is what OP is asking about.

Xtremes have sport mufflers, and this set up is loud... the sport catback is half that

Please show me where the OP asks about Touring exhaust. The thread is confusing. As is your post. "Sport catback has touring mufflers"??? In the thread title OP is asking for opinions on Borla vs Corsa sound. Then in the first thread asks about Borla S and FRPP. I was answering the Borla question. Corsa makes a Sport which is just an axle back. The Borla Sport is a cat back. My best advise to OP is go to some local mustang meets/shows and listen in person. There are Youtube videos of various exhaust systems too. Good luck.

Yea that was confusing.

But to answer what you wrote

Corsa had two catbacks.

Sport catback is double X pipe plus the touring mufflers.

Xtreme catback is double X pipe plus the sport mufflers.

Sport axles backs are the Xtremes mufflers minus the mid pipes

Touring axles backs belong to the sport catback minus the mod pipes

Thanks for the clarification. I always saw the Corsa packages as Extreme = X pipes plus mufflers and Sport as Axle back mufflers only. Where did you find the X pipe and Touring mufflers?

Hypermotive can take care of that.

You can have either catback or either axle back. Then if you're someone who likes Roush or other axle backs and like Corsa double X mid pipe you can buy that as a stand alone too

Thank you. Beef Cake already set me up with Corsa Extremes. If I keep my foot out off the gas they are actually reasonably quiet. I didn't know Corsa Touring or Sport came in cat backs.

I love my Borla S type! Definitely recommend if you want something loud when you get on it, but quiet when cruising. Got it from Beef.

Borla S has a deeper tone, and sounds better IMO. Whichever one you buy, call us @ 443-730-9428 and we will take care of you!

I've been pretty happy with the Borla S Type but they were much louder than I was expecting. Havent heard the Corsa in person.
