Hello all,
My girlfriend lives in Stone Mountain and drives a 2009 X5. The car starts but when it goes into gear, the car turns off. She has taken it to a shop and they said that there was an oil leak that destroyed something between the engine and trans to cause this. They said it would be 3200 to fix. I advised to get a second opinion before considering it a loss (she is wanting to get rid of it).
I live in Maryland so I know nothing abut that area. Are there any reputable shops you guys recommend that she may take it to for another opinion?
