It seems the Euro cars will get the same lower grill as the US ACC equiped cars..This because of a "block heater" ? (Image 1) We will not have ACC in Europe.

I'm however looking to swap it for the GT grills (Image 2)

Does anyone know if this can be done without affecting the functionalities of this block heater ?

Yes. The plug won't fit through the lower stock gt grill which is why block heater cars got special grills.

When I did my Lethal Performance grill delete I just zip tied my block heater cord up and away from everything on the radiator core support. I don't ever plan on using it.

I'm in Canada, and mine came with the block heater. However I was given the option of getting the ACC which I did not, so it should not affect the functionality of either.

That's the point I guess as ACC and block heater lower grills are the same...

I do not believe we got these block heaters in Europe... don't see why if Canada got them, surely us Northern Europeans at least would find good use for them :D

All Mustangs sold in Wisconsin get block heaters and the ugly lower ACC grill.

I've never needed to use a block heater in my life, so I'm sure I will not use the one in my '16 either. I plan on finding the matching (non ACC) lower grill for my EB, if not swapping to a GT upper & lower set. Cord will just be tucked up out of the way & zip-tied to something.
