Blendmount the the plastic wire holder

Never mind. Despite being nearly blind with glasses I could see the snap with a flashlight.

Installed, works great.

Shame on me that I have not examined the plastic wire holder surrounding the rear view mirror arm and holding and enclosing the wires to the back of the rear view mirror.

Blend mount says to remove it first.

How? Razor blades and wires don't always mix.
