That brake dust is created, when you wash the car.
A little rust builds up on the rotors, and comes off as soon as you drive it.
If going to a show, you need to wash it, drive it and then detail it lol.
Ask me how I know :(

Identical to the one I'm taking delivery of in 5 days :D :D :D

What do you think of that color combination in person?
Wow. 25 years old. Getting a bad ass racer.

Your doing something right kid (or really wrong). Keep doing it.

Well I did need a fast getaway car.... :D

Just kidding, engineer myself and fiancee is a social worker. Both of us have good jobs thankfully so even in a relatively poor economy I was able to go after my dream car. Consider myself very, very fortunate, and am simply thrilled every time I have been able to drive my car :)

And I figure I may as well contribute while I'm here :D

Please don't crucify me about the parking in the third picture, was at the very back of the lot of Walmart (should be self-explanatory why I'm not parking closer) and didn't want to risk curbing the wheels either :D hehe

Thanks! I must say I do love the white stripes, wasn't sure how it would look but after seeing it when I picked it up I loved it. Though to be honest, I did briefly debate removing the stripes before I had the car covered with XPEL, something about an all black car is just sinister and mean!

Oddly enough I just had my Xpel done and may put stripes on top of it. My gripe is however since my car was ordered a stripe delete, they aren't original (as much the stock vinyl is meh) but I'd be afraid of ghost striping over time with UV being much more blocked on the stripes

If my track pack 350 I previously owned wasn't a shadow black stripe delete I may feel differently

For the pic thread. My R before it was detailed, my brothers E63S AMG, and my 350 track pack before I sold it

My R at the detailer with my old track pack behind it (new owner uses the same guy)

Mean looking ride man!! At least with XPEL on there, you can install aftermarket stripes on top, and the paint beneath will still be the same, since the film protects from UV damage. With stripes on top you can have any color you like :)

That's awesome man. Good for you. That's a heck of an education you've got and a solid foundation for a great future.

I've got an engineer working for me, and he's for sure the most valuable guy in my company, including me. Lots of cogs in the wheel, but he adds a certain level of credibility that we've never had. Good for you.

Enjoy it.

Thank you sir! Yeah we tend to be a fairly crafty bunch some of time, well, those times when our lack of common sense doesn't make us look like idiots anyways :D

I was really very fortunate, received scholarships out of high school that paid for the majority of my education, and was able to attend university from home. Very very lucky to say that I graduated with zero student debt and no loans (other than my small payment on my past CLA45). Hard work in the past is pretty well the only reason I was able to go after a 350 at my age, and I've never felt like something has paid off so well before! :D

Worst part is that winter is coming on way too fast where I'm from, and I may only get 1 or 2 more drives in the car if I'm lucky before storage time :(:brokenheart: going to be a very long 6-7 months!
