Hey folks, let me begin saying I have a 2016 5.0. From day one I was not super impressed with the action of the clutch, the stiffness in the pedal and most importantly the bite point where the gear engages. The bite point was super high, nearly all the way to the top of the clutch pedals action.
So, after trying some research, I decided to purchase a McLeod RST twin disk w flywheel, and since it was dropping out I went ahead and had a MGW x-spec short throw done.

Just picked the car up after all the goodies installed. I don't want to say I'm disappointed, because I am hopeful person. Immediately the clutch pedal action is 3x better, I have nearly put my foot through the floor due to the ease of the clutch pedal. However, the most upsetting thing is that the bite point on the clutch now seems to maybe be even worse than it was previously. The bite/release point is without a doubt to the very top of the clutch pedal. The MGW is also going to have a learning curve, 1 and 2nd are damn near impossible to find at this point but hopefully there is some break in that needs to be done.

So, as is I am super bummed that the bite point on the RST did not improve. My 11' car had an RST and the bite point was amazing, almost like driving a tuner car.
Thusly, where did I go wrong? Was my problem always with another component of the clutch/transmission? What sets the bite point on these cars? Or are these S550 cars just built to bite at the top of the action? When I say top, I mean literally 90% of the clutch pedals action is useless. That top 10% has all the engaging/disengaging in it.

Just looking for some info and advice! Thanks!
