I made the deal for the car in early August with no written contract and placed a 5K deposit thinking the car would be delivered to the dealer by the end of August. Well the car finally showed up this week and should be in my house soon. While it was frustrating waiting 3 months for a car that was already built, Big Country Auto of Madison County honored our verbal agreement on the purchase price on the car. They could easily jacked the price another 5 to 10k but they didn't. I live on the east coast and the adm's are crazy and I am sure they were contacted by many seekers but they held our verbal agreement throughout the process of waiting for delivery of the car.

So I say thanks to Big Country Auto of Madison County for their honorable service.

My dealer did the same ordered in November delivered in April 2020 I know they had offers greater than mine. No written agreement they honored the deal. That’s the stuff that build customer loyalty, I bought a new truck from them 6 months later

Great to hear. My 2022 allocation is also a verbal MSRP deal. I bought a 2017 GT350 (MSRP) and a 2020 GT500 (MSRP) from the same dealership. I put $1,000 down for the GT500. The GM said no need for a deposit this go round. I have no reason to believe they won’t honor the deal.
It’s nice to know there are some good dealerships out there. Mine is a small town family owned dealership.
