West End (or any shop for that matter) can't take your alignment beyond the mechanical limit of your current setup. Guys who know what they are doing know some tricks to eek out another 0.1-0.2 degrees if you are already maxed but that's about it.

Guys who know what they are doing will also probably tell you that -1.6 is plenty for a street car. ;)

VNTGSPD Ive got MPSS 285/35/19 upfront and with 40-70% hard driving, I'm seeing a lot of wear on the outer edges and even the sidewall, so maybe i need to be at -1.8-2 to not eat away at the fronts so much. Does anyone know what the max camber for 15-17 s550's is?

Hmm. What tire pressure are you running and what wheel width? ALL street driving?

285 upfront and 305 in the rear. The rears are fine, the fronts are wearing evenly but in canyon driving, the sidewall seems to get wear as well. I think I'm going to need -2 camber upfront but am not sure if factory components will allow that or if i need camber plates VNTGSPD

You still haven't mentioned what your front wheel width is (not the tire). If you are running anything less than 10" wide up front then you will likely need extra pressure for aggressive driving. 35psi is okay for running around town but heavy corner loads will require more unless you are running something like 10.5-11" wide with the 285. I would go up 2psi at a time and see how it looks and feels in the canyons. If it starts to feel "loose" at some point then drop a pound.

If your wear is even except for rollover on canyon runs, then pressure changes may be the easiest and cheapest solution. Adding camber has the side effect of causing uneven wear (unless you do LOTS of canyon driving), reducing braking effectiveness, and causing more tramlining/hunting on uneven road surfaces.

Its a 10' wide wheel, so I think you make an excellent point on adjusting the psi and so how it does after increasing the psi 2. Thank you for your input VNTGSPD

I just had my Steeda adjustable shocks and Springs install yesterday. Took it to West End Alignment today... Call first to make an appointment! Man, very professional. I have had many cars and many alignments done, these guys put them all to shame!!! I never had an alignment shop ask me to sit in my car sit while they dial in the setting! Very professional.
