Not enough to be worried unless you're boosted.

I was thinking that but wouldn’t it cause back pressure in the system?
Alot

im boosted bro I have a 2.9 whipple and I run 2.8 pulley sometimes.. currently have no mufflers and it’s terrible I can’t even hear my engine.. I know a lot of picks ups like the f150 and trx run 3in pipes but I know the mufflers are long and rounded I don’t know how it would fit under the car

It won't ever be "stock quiet" with headers. Using something like the Magnaflow Tru X with stock mufflers is probably the quietist you can get, although you'd obviously have to adjust for the 3" setup.

Edit: Saw you're boosted. Probably too restrictive.

yeah I was exaggerating… the car is to loud at idle even when it’s warmed up I know the cold starts and when I’m on the gas yeah the headers wake up the exhaust but even when I’m cruising in 5th gear or 6th it’s sound crazy 6th not so much but everything under it’s crazy… But thanks for the recommendation I’m going to look into them

the 3" is your biggest problem.
Yes it is because if it was still 2.75 I would have just put stock exhaust back on… But Oakley that’s beside the point see your here Oakley. ->..l……………………….l<- but you I need to be here…pass that not redoing my headers it took me 1 week to do those things by myself with the car on stands… one of the worst week of my life… I just want some simple recommendations on some good quiet after market mufflers bro…I don’t need the car to sound stock just need it be calm

okay so here's the problem: your car doesn't make enough power to need 3" pipes so the extra diameter just allows for more sound to come out.

what you need is a properly sized exhaust system AND sufficient mufflers. probably 4 to get the drone and rasp under control.

you need to do some research, its not as simple as throwing a muffler on.

My car makes over 800 hp I have a 2.9 whipple stage 2 2.8 pulleys and in the 7s when I run my 3.7 pulley… My dads f150 makes roughly high 3s give or take and his exhaust is 3 inches and it sounds very quiet only hear his truck on start up from inside I never know when he pulls up

Any of the touring type catbacks will dull the exhaust down quite a bit from being muffler-less.

Ok thanks I thought the dual exhaust was for active exhaust and one side was open and the other side muffled but I guess I thought wrong I’ll look into them thanks for the recommendation
