I wanted wheels for my Tesla Model 3 Performance. Shopped supporting vendors from numerous car forums and brands posted by owners on those forums including this one. There was just one I hadn't at least heard of before and ended up going with them. One thing that made a difference was how easy they made it to customize an offering. So many wheel manufacturers manufacture batches and sell them off the rack. Apex annoyed me no end because I couldn't get the RM10s for my Mustang in silver. Why? They don't want to get stuck with wheels in a color that isn't topping the charts at the moment. Won't build any if projections say it might take too long to sell all in the batch sized they make. SMH

So, its easy to find wheels with certain characteristics but damned hard to find any with exactly ALL the characteristics you want. Aside from dimensions, I wanted silver 5 spokes with something unique about the spokes. 5 spokes to best show the big red Brembos and 2 piece rotors. Lots of 5 spoke wheels around. Easy to find wheels with the dimensions I want; not as easy to find silver wheels, VERY few wheels with the MP3 stepped rear bore. Want all? Easier to find a unicorn.

Anyway, I really liked that BC Forged offers a staggering number of styles and finishes. So, silver no problem. I HATE any wheel with branding machined (or raised). BC Forged: No problem they're history just ask. You want an ET that no premade wheels ever had, no problem if you want that few millimeter more or less clearance. All included in the base price. Here's a pic of my wheels in transit:

BC Forged bespoke RS42s, 19x9.5 35ET, knurled bead, hub centric (M3P rear spec), hold the branding, Lunar Silver. For my Midnight Silver Metallic Tesla Model 3 Performance.

No affiliation. They sell direct but I ordered from an authorized retailer I won't mention since they don't advertise here.

BC makes excellent wheels, I’ve had many sets. Quality is top tier for sure. They actually are the manufacturer for Signature which is the big sponsor I’ve gone through PK many times, which I think is still a forum sponsor, pricing for the forged was always pretty decent. Service was good.

Now I just have to figure out how make some silver center caps with a red Tesla push dagger on them.

You may talk to a local sign shop. They can probably make you an inlay that would fit that inner circle of the cap with your Tesla emblem. Pretty wheels.

I've been trying to track down some alternative caps to play with. The billet BC that came with the wheels are $250 per set to replace. So far no luck finding any cheap plastic (or anything else) caps. They use a strange system. There are two O-rings in the cap and one in the bore to secure them instead of tabs that flex to provide the grip.

I coated the wheels with Gtechniq C5 yesterday before mounting. First set of wheels I bought that had serial numbers CNCed in. If I ever want to sell them, I hope there is a wheel show loophole.

Glad I went out on a limb and ordered PS4s 255s instead of 265s for these wheels. That retains the trapezoidal cross section of factory wheel/tires. Didn't want to mess with mother nature. Knowing how manufacturers have tire makers produce versions of model tires because of some slight benefit over the generic version (e.g. 2 BMW, 1 MB, and 1 Lexus plus the generic 255/35 19s PS4s), it seemed to me that Tesla probably chose to go trapezoidal for reasons such as more resistance to sidewall deflection plus actual camber changes from one side gaining height with deflection and the opposite side losing height and built that into the suspension geometry.

I completely get the ocd side to details for some stuff, I’m the same way. Signage and labels generally bug the living …. out of me on stuff I have. That said the BC caps and logo didn’t bug me. My situation is different then most(previous work) but if I couldn’t find a local shop to make a a matching overlay I’d probably buy another set of caps, match the color, then fill and repaint them. Not an inexpensive direction direction to take. As for tires, it’s amazing how specific the oems get on tires with some car offerings. Not being negative there at all considering how well modern cars perform. Have you put the wheels on the car? Bet they look really good. BC makes very nice wheels.

I like the stock center caps. But would probably like some contrasting Tesla Push Daggers more. I won't risk damaging the original caps. I may have found a contact who knows a source for similar diameter plastic caps to play with.

Ordered a set of 255/35 19 PS4s from Costco and took the invoice to Discount Tire who matched it. Got them mounted on Thursday. Had a chance to get some pics today. Now the red calipers and two piece rotors are visible. Tesla wheels are basically pizza pans with holes for the lug nuts, so you can't see much of anything. Was deciding on black or chrome locking lug nuts and neither seemed right. I think I'll stick with the factory rough finish lug nuts.
