This is the Base Eco-Boost and GT Diamond Mesh Aluminum Finish Dash Trim

This is the Eco-Boost and GT Premium Brushed Aluminum Dash Trim.

This is the Eco-Boost and GT Performance Package Engine Turned Aluminum Dash Trim with Center Gages

Lastly, This is the Limited Edition and 50th Anniversary Appearance Package Axle Spun Aluminum Dash Trim. The Limited Edition gets the Center Mounted Gages, the Appearance Package gets the 3 A/C vents.

I know that Tampa's on top of things like this, but I'll be willing to put a sock in my mouth the moment someone with that base dash can confirm that it's an actual alloy. I've never seen a real aluminum surface with that kind of pattern before. I'll be happy to be wrong though.

It's a sprayed pattern over the aluminum like the '07 GT500, in other words real painted aluminum.

Huh, well thanks for clearing that up. Odd choice of finish since it hides the alloy roots and definitely comes off looking like plastic.

Exactly, after all they don't want to make it too good.. still a hundred times better than the Tupperware container '05+ base dash.
