Axle back tips to low

I installed Steeda axle back exhaust today and they seem to low. Right side is about half inch lower than left. Any ideas on how to fix or what went wrong installing them.

If you have and H or X pipe, just loosen it there and jack the mufflers with a bottle jack and a piece of wood to your desired height. Then fasten it back down.

Sometimes you need to have a shop adjust the hangers in the back. My Corsa exhaust was like that, no matter how I adjusted it the back was a little low. Took it to a muffler shop and they heated and bent the hangers just a little and it sat perfect.

Yep- sounds like an adjustment- loosen all clamps and rotate to position the exhaust pipes higher. I had to do this on my FIST MBRP CAT back. Or it could be the exhaust hangers- did it come with new rubber hangers? My MBRP did and they were slightly shorter than stock and once I rotated and positioned the exhaust it fit perfectly- then I tightened everything down.

Why do I have deja vu on this topic? Wasn't there another member recently bad mouthing a vendor for the same thing and we all chirped in telling him to adjust it?

I would simply loosen all rear clamps, place a jack under the muffler to prop it up where you want it and re-tighten clamps.

Yes, and that is the solution. That said, with the Joint of the Roush, Steeda, Borla axlebacks being where they are, tips being low with those would usually indicate the midpipe joint to axleback being too high.

General rule is: loosen all clamps, push mufflers all the way up (and hold them there) so that the tips are contacting the valence. Then tighten front to back. When you release the mufflers they'll fall just a bit in the rubber isolators and have several mm of clearance between tip and valence.
