If you are not my wife reading this - planned to be about £4k - Exhaust / Coilovers / Lund tune with CAI / stripes even bloody air brushed pony badges and few other bits

If you are my wife reading this - remember a k is two zeros not three, we have had this discussion before on all things automotive.

As goosey has said, to you guys out there I think I have spent £2k, to my wife only about £500.

I love my wife to bits, but I seem to love my Mitzi more !!!!

£800 on an exhaust you hear everyday, or £800 on a dress, heels, and a meal that never get worn again?

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about what others are spending on mods - spend what you want to make the car what you want :)

In many cases, you can keep the original parts and thus return the car to stock when and if you decide to upgrade to MY '18 or'19 !

Some mods (such as rear diffuser) do require modification to body panels and thus will not be so easy to reverse.

Make the car your own - enjoy the process!
Sound advice, we can all be guilty of getting 'stuff' just because others have. In saying that, its best to have a plan :D

Do you want a fire breathing monster?, Whipple/Roush supercharger?!? Or is it more aesthetics, if both (like me), you're in trouble

A skillful caring husband would achieve both

£775 exhaust

£20 Primark special sale outfit and a Happy Meal with Extra fries £5

Best of both worlds, happy man happy wife / partner / GF etc

Lol, I was more inferring spending the £800 on the wife, rather than the car...
AS long as my missus gets flowers, or a meal out, she's kept happy

£800 exhaust was from profusuion exhausts, for the MF Comp cat back.

£800 for a dress, heels and a meal, easily doable, tell your wife she's got £800 to spend on a dress and heels and a meal, you'll end up at some posh restaurant with small service sizes with her wearing some £300 heels, and a £300 dress both designer of course.

There is plenty that you can do while keeping your wallet (or partner!) happy.

Check out our Affordable Handling Mods for Your Mustang post on our Blog for one thing.

You can also do a bunch of other stuff with Steeda UK for under £200, starting with our clutch spring at under £20. Mind you you can also go as crazy as you like with us and go for a fully fledged Q750 Midnight Edition, so start saving, haha!
