Automatic transmission shifting noise driving me crazy

I have a 2016 auto GT. Now when i shift from D to R or R to D it makes a clicking sound like "tick tick tick" and it also occurs when as i first want to accelerate very slowly. Is possible that this from my diff or all auto mustangs do that. I didnt have that at first but now i do. Plz help asappp
PS: how long can i drive it like this and can i drag race even though i hear this?!?!

Take it to your dealership. That doesn't sound normal. Mine is as quiet as a mouse at all times.

Is it at the same rpm? Does it make the sound in park or neutral?
