Use to like the 5 Speed on my '80 Civic, until a knee injury, and stop and go, uphill, on the beltway exist ramp in D.C. After about an hour, I started looking for Autos. Honda only offered the Si's in Manual. I don't want a Manual anymore. I want Adaptive Cruise Control! ON THE LE!

When Ford gets a more modern auto transmission and the manual is considerably slower, should the manual be excluded from getting a performance pack since it won't be able to keep up?
and that may happen one day! It happened with the Mitsubishi Evo, you can't get the MR in manual. For me automatic takes the fun out of it, driving manual just makes me feel closer to the car and that I'm more part of the driving experience.
Just my 2 cents, but a GT in auto is a big waste, unless you are absolutely forced to due to perhaps a disability (arrow to the knee)
Otherwise you might as well be another troll.
That's how I feel too!!! if you have an injury then ok... if you don't know how to drive manual we still have a few months before the car gets here, perfect time to learn how to drive stick shift before the car gets here. just learn the basics and the rest will come with time once you have the Mustang. Every clutch is different anyways and takes some time to get used to.
Not taking the bait. I enjoyed my manual mustangs in the past and I know I will enjoy the auto I have on order. To each his own. Get what makes you happy.
Like Chambo007 said at the end of the day get what makes you happy I'm just trying to point out something I've felt about driving for the 11 years I've been driving. My first car was automatic and I hated it.. after that every car I've owned has been manual.
