Separating distinctly different topics is a good thing even if they're all about the same car.

If nothing else, making multiple responses in sequence in the same thread is not always held in high regard by the moderating team . . . never mind that administratively merging posts means extra work for somebody.

Let me clarify. Within the subforum, some threads deserved to stand on their own, like the E85 thread, that was perfect. Some not so much.

There were already brake pad and brake fluid threads, you could have easily gone in there to find your answer or ask your questions regarding those topics. Then the next guy doesn't need to read through 10 or more threads and piece together the information, the next guys gets 1 comprehensive thread that covers brake pads and everyone wins.

Just my opinion, but it seems to work quite well in many other forums.
