Yes. My '18 is set up with Pype's catless lt's, h pipe into an MBRP black tip muffler delete. What do you need to know? Is it loud? Yep. It. really. is. Some people even say obnoxious, but that kind of talk just puts a smile on my face...As the title says...
I'm looking into reducing some weight in my '16, as I will start drag racing with it. I currently have Roush quads and I know the mufflers are heavy. I can shave off a few pounds with a muffler delete, but wanna retain quad exhaust because I have the Roush valance. I'd also like to go full 3" to take advantage of the added hp and flow from the Whipple I'll be installing. Any pics, tips or advice would be great!Yes. The weight savings is pretty negligible in my opinion, but was nice. If I remember it was less than 20 lbs. I did it for sound, and man did I ever get that! She's wake the dead loud. I'm staying n/a but if you are going in the boost direction, that 3" full exhaust will work nicely! Also remember, if you are talking about weight savings, and exhaust at the same time, remember that 3" pipe is heavier and will add more weight.I'm looking into reducing some weight in my '16, as I will start drag racing with it. This is true and why I'd like to reduce as much weight as possible by not using my current mufflers. My plan is to run Dynomax race bullets, possibly in the resonator location if possible. They are small and should fit.The weight savings is pretty negligible in my opinion, but was nice. If I remember it was less than 20 lbs. I did it for sound, and man did I ever get that!
