My car is driving perfectly and traps 113 at a track that's constantly slow. Jon at Lund said my WGA is maxed out so basically that's it. So I can either be happy there or change out the wga and possibly pick up a little more power. I see all the positives from people but does anyone have regrets?

I don't think there are any negatives. You do need to be tuned for the WGA. I have my Turbosmart IWG75 Internal Wastegate - 10 PSI that I barely used if interested PM.

Yes as long as you have a tuner that tunes for it. I wouldn't put one on a car with a canned tune, only pro tune.

I have the TS wga with a tune + custom tune supporting it.
I wouldn't say it makes more power, but it does hold your max power longer.
It's like more under the curve if you know what I mean.

I recently installed Turbosmart IWG75 with 14 psi springs, Corsa Catted 3" DP, and replaced the suitcase with Y pipe style Borla muffler (3" in, two 2.25" out), along with Tune+ map. The boost comes in so much quicker and harder now so that it feels like there's no lag at all.

Previously, I was running just with Cobb drop-in filter and CPE IC with Cobb Stage 2 OTS map.

Sadly I can't run a 14psi spring because I run 91 most of the time. And I read some people having trouble with the 10psi Spring not holding boost

The only trouble I had was the factory hose to the TS WG crack and created extra boost. I just replaced the hose with one from NAPA for less than a buck. No issues since. It would have been nice to get a message from TS that people have had issues and need to replace the hose to keep from destroying an engine...
Good Luck.

I also run 91 as I live in AZ. Even with the 91 map, Cobb Stage 2 OTS map set my max boost at a little over 25 PSI and my OAR stayed at -1.0.

I did some research and found that minimum spring rate should be half the maximum boost planned. So I can see why some have issues holding boost with 10 psi spring as it's only recommended for up to 20 psi of boost. I wonder if running a 14 psi spring WGA without supporting tune will raise the max boost to 28 psi.

Jon from Lund is not comfortable with running anything over 10psi on 91 octane. If he told me racing in a miniskirt would create more power I'd do it lol. I mean the stock WGA has been perfectly fine for me 25-26 peak psi tapering off to about 22-23psi. But it's now completely maxed out. In all honesty I'll probably keep the car how it is. It traps 113 mph constantly and that was at a slow track. Probably get some front runners and a little weight reduction. Then start working on the suspension.

I'm a little confused why you came here and asked about it. I'm thinking inside you must understand that Jon believes this is holding you back some or he wouldn't have mentioned it. I'd imagine you must know that, that's why you came here to ask. It sounds like you trust him, if so, ask him if you should get a TurboSmart WGA w/10psi spring. I think you know the answer will be yes. Plus, I know where you can get one cheap, almost new and already adjusted. Easy to install too. If he says no, it was just a phone call/email.

Meanwhile, I'm just wondering the reasoning behind Jon being uncomfortable with running anything over a 10# spring on 91. Please update us on that. I'm curious as to why octane would affect a spring rate choice, seriously.

Only regret is that stripped T30 bolt and my cut up heat shield.
