anyone else go this route in purchasing?

Hey all,.. my first post. I just purchased a new black base gt pp long distance. It was exactly what i would have ordered this fall minus one option. So i think i got it cheaper than what i would pay ordering. Ive only seen pictures though. Its being delivered this weekend. I kinda feel like i did back when i ordered a new 1990 lx 5.0. Except i did get to see it at dealership before i paid for it. Im hoping that Ford production and QC got it right, salesman said its perfect..Anyone buy sight unseen? Just curious to know..and i look forward to posting on here cause ive been behind the bushes so long at mustang 6g..

I bought my last vehicle over the phone from Idaho while I was in Hawaii. The easiest purchase I've ever made. Truck showed up at the port exactly as described. Congratulations and welcome!

I bought sight unseen. Ordered 5/21/2014 and picked up 900 miles away on 12/19/2014. Car was perfect. Built on 11/24/14.

Man what a trek that must have been, sounds like it would've had a hefty shipping fee..So would you say that the truck was as the salesman described?

I think you are pretty safe at this point. Some of the earliest Job 2 cars had QC issues (and more than one of the Job 1 cars were never released from the factory, they were that bad!) But recently it seems cars are looking good.

I only had a 5 to 6 hour drive to go see the car, but I traveled to see so many in the last few months and a few test drives that i needed a break from the time it consumed to do that..also i was confident in this car based on the build date. I have noticed after looking at about 50 new mustangs the panel fitment looks alot better the more current the build date was.

Shipping came out to $250 to truck it to Tacoma, $1100 to ship it to Honolulu. It was exactly as described.

i live in the bay area and ordered mine site unseen from a dealership in arizona after i was screwed around by a couple dealers in my area. i had 8 or 9 good pics of it, and it was exactly what i wanted.

I had it shipped here and it arrived in perfect condition minus a little dust from the transport.
