A ticking time bomb ;)
Started my heater for the first time, noticed the passenger side wasn't heating but the driver side was. I knew immediately it was a blend door actuator. Took it to Ford it was indeed an actuator and also just as I predicted the parts on back order. Good thing I don't drive with passengers often so I'll just shut the passenger vents when the heater is on.

Purpose of this post is more informative than anything else. The only reason I noticed was because I just so happened to have the center passenger vent pointed my way. Had that not been the case, I probably wouldn't have recognized it. So it wouldn't be a bad idea to check yours just in case and take it to the dealer if necessary. It's an easily identifiable issue and depending on how busy your dealer is and if you take it in early in the morning you should have you car back in a couple of hours or the next day at the very most.

Who knows I may be the only guy with the .001% chance of a manuafacturing defect considering 113,607 (not verified just copied from another thread)total sales thus far it adds up perfectly. That just means at least one other person is probably out there and this post is for you. Haha

About 2 hours ago my a.c. started blowing hot air - 85 outside too. Drivers side is noticably warmer than the passengers, will have to get it to the dealer this week because the a.c. drivers seat hasn't been working for a week or 2 as well

Having AC issues as well. Noticed a couple of weeks ago that defroster wasn't working very well. I didn't think much of it at the time. Well, It was 85 yesterday in north Louisiana (20 degrees above normal). Turned on the AC it it was not cooling at all. It would freeze your ass out of the car this past summer. I dont think the compressor is cycling at all. I have an appointment for Wednesday to take it in.

Got mine checked out today. It was low on freon. They didn't find any obvious leaks. Tech said he's seen a few come from Flat Rock with the system not charged completely. He's hoping this is the case here. If it gets low again they'll do a full leakdown test and get it fixed up.
