Ex-Burgher here as well. Florida roads are smooth, straight...and boring, but it beats he salt encrusted potholed turn-of-the-century wagon routes of western PA. Take a weekend and head up to The tail of the Dragon, or the Blue Ridge Parkway in western NC. Worth the trip, and your car gets to stretch its legs.

In Pasco here. From Northern IL. I'd never go back, and you wont ever hear me complain about the heat/humidity. Because just when it gets to be too much, winter arrives here in FL and its breezy and 78/sunny every day. Its heaven.

That being said, there are plenty of great driving roads in north pasco county between LOL and Brooksville. Lots of one lane, twisty roads to play on. Personally I like the high speed highway of the veterans expressway. Its wide, new and very few cops. Then cut over to clearwater to cruise the strip and back over. Florida is amazing.
