Has anyone with a base radio had antenna issues with the radio after removing and installing a tomtop unit?

I originally installed the tomtop unit with no issue everything worked great. I had planned on selling my car and returned to the factory radio.. at this point the radio on fm/am was nothing but fuzz. Some stations you can slightly here but still fuzzy. I decided to reinstall the tomtop to see if this fixed the issue and still the same remains.. So at this point im pretty lost on what could of caused this?

I didn't see any antenna connections or anything that I could of messed up for this to happen. If anyone has had similar experiences please chime in!

I believe this is the antenna connector (circled in red). My car doesn't have Sirius or Nav, so it must be it. Have you checked here for a solid connection?

You know what I didn't even realize that was the antenna connection when I replaced it last time now I know what I messed up. I really don't know how I didn't notice that...Thank you so much.
