An Si that was fast? Well....that 2006 Si has a K20, so it's 200hp from the factory, and weighs well under 3000lbs. Those cars respond VERY well to cheap mods like a Hondata reflash, headers, and an intake...I wouldn't ignore that completely, I wouldn't want to go against one in my ecoboost, a V6, or a pre-coyote GT, especially on an autox or roadcourse.
S2000 is 4 cyl, Integra Type R is 4 cyl, Acura RSX-S is 4cyl, all of which would likely destroy the majority of mustangs on the track.
Why do so many people need to pick sides? EVERY car company has made some great cars, and EVERY car company has made some utter shit.
This was the car I drove prior to my current GT. 2008 Honda Civic Si sedan (only about 60Lbs heavier than the coupe). In a straight line it would eat the s2000 easy but that isn't saying much lol. I had full Toda header back exhaust, 3.5" intake, flash pro, along with wheels, suspension etc. It made around 220whp NA with just a few bolt ons and a tune. That car was a blast to drive. It just needed a lot to maintain it and I just rolled over 100k miles, Honda doesn't have much to offer in the form of excitement anymore. Sorry in advance for the ricer rant. :ford:
