I'm surprised I have not seen this posted yet. I have an annoying buzz from the reverse pull on the shifter when under heavy acceleration. Only way to keep it from buzzing is to keep pressure against it in between gears with my hand.
There is simply WAY too much slop in this thing. In the video link below the green stuff is grease as I thought that may silence it but it has not.
I do have the Steeda trans insert bushing but I also cut out the entire middle section which pretty much eliminated any NVH. Other than that everything tranny related is stock.
Any one else have this much slop in their reverse pull? More importantly anyone have any ideas of how to fix?
I tried adhesive backed felt within the knob with the hope that it would firmly surround the reverse pull keeping it from chattering. Did not work well.
