Have anyone tried this stage 3 kit? Not sure how much power it handles, but worth the discussion vs doing a tr6060 swap..

Thanks for your feedback!

Really depends on what your power goals are and type of clutch to answer that.

well currently I have about 650rwhp and my goal is really 800 with race fuel for occasionally pushing the car. Current stock clutch, but will change to Mcleod RST when my factory clutch cant handle anymore the power. This is why Im asking, because my clutch life is on a thread and I'm looking at changing clutch and rebuilding tranny just to be safe.

I read on their website/fb that this kit is designed to hold up to 700 tq to the flywheel which are higher numbers than the ones I will be getting on VP.

I dont think you have to worry so much on the trans holding the power, its will the RST. At your current level the RST would be fine. The closer you get to that 800 number it wont be. Then what? Im at the 700-750 mark and blown through two MT82s. I dont believe its because of the power but because of the RXT and driving style.

The MT82 isn't a particularly fun/easy transmission to rebuild. 99% of people on this forum have no idea how to do it, including me. I just know a few Ford Techs who hate it.
