I’m kinda worried on the quality due to not being a reputable company but this may help others in the future if it’s a good hood versus the experience options in Aluminium.

I received the gt350 style aluminum hood and the lines look great, identical to the Ikon hood. the build quality is great as well. I cant test fitment yet since the car is wrecked, but once I get the frame pulled and test the fitment with the other body panels I'll give y'all an update. Here's an update on my wrecked 2016 Mustang build where I give an in-depth look into the hood. Let me know if y'all have any questions.

Can you please give an update about the durability of the amerihood? They are cheaper than Anderson composites but I’m worried about the durability. Thank you.

I ended up buying one, had the same concerns cause i couldnt find anyone that already had one but i got to say so far i am extremely happy. Looks awesome and fits pretty well. I am still working on the alignment since this is my first aftermarket hood. I have already notice some compromises that need to be made with this hood. 1. the strut brace has to go, the hood will close but it pops the edges up so they dont sit flush with the fenders. 2. Same issue but with the radiator support cover, it keeps the front edge by the headlight from sitting flush, i am sure this can be fixed by modifying the hood frame or the trimming the radiator support cover. 3. Will need to install hood pins, it does flex a bit on the highway. Oh ya, and i am not sure yet but it looks like i am going to have an issue with the washer nozzles, ill updates after i get it fully installed. View attachment 332722 View attachment 332723

Hey, I'm looking to buy one of these hoods from LMPerformance. I was wondering how your experience with this hood has been? I noticed you posted this over a year ago but I'd greatly appreciate your input on the product. Looks sick on your car btw!
