Hi guys, I'm new to owning a Mustang but feel I'm pretty versed in engine theory. I used to have a 400hp turbo 4-cyl sentra with just a street tune. Reason for the post is I see Lund, and SCT/BAMA everywhere by way of remote tuning and flashing the computer.
Short of a full stand-alone system, is there anything else available for our cars? Maybe something of a piggy-back style or sensor interception/signal correction we can use instead? My reasons for asking is I'd like to be able to tune myself as I am used to doing. Not sure if it's not something thats done with Ford or not but it'd be nice to have this flexibility.
I used to use a zeitronix datalogger and then adjust fuel maps with an safcII. Even something like the JB4 for bmw's or is it that the ford PCM doesn't allow for this type of interaction?
any expert opinions you can offer would be great, thanks
