For those of you with the v3 mounted in their car with the sticky adhesive mount, its probably an every day struggle to push it back into place when you get in the car. Also, the AP itself moves and vibrates a little during driving. I recently purchased one of these for cell phone use in my jeep and figured I would try it out in the car. In my jeep, the mount stays up on my dash where it gets beat with sun all day long, and has yet to fall. The adhesive is incredibly strong.

When the mount arrived for my car I found that the original AP ball piece could still be used, I simply replaced the adhesive with the extra pad the magnetic mount came with and trimmed it to fit. I would have used the NEW ball mount had it been narrow enough to fit where I wanted it.

Keep in mind the AP already has a magnet in it, so no need to stick one of the included ones on its back.

Here is where I purchased it

Mount does not vibrate at all and stays secure while driving. Also provides a good spot for viewing nav on your phone

How do you see the Accessport from that location? The steering wheel blocks it for me .............

Good hardware solution. The location itself sucks. I had mine to the left of the nav screen forever too. Line of sight sucked for monitoring values on the fly. Just bought a windshield suction mount for the left corner. So much better. I can actually keep my head up now.

I don't have any troubles with it. I can see the values just fine when I need to. I don't use the shift light either.
