Air Tools in San Jose

Hey guys,

I'm stuck and need some help. I'm installing my konis on the spring and can't get the top strut but to tighten without the rod spinning. My electric impact gun isn't doing the trick and I can't thread it far enough to use open ended wrenches.

My car is on stands right under my garage door so I can't pack up for the night and try again tomorrow

Anyone nearby in Dan Jose or South Bay with air tools that I can bring my strut assembly to tighten?

Do you have pics of where you are talking about? Should be able to do without air tools. What springs?

Yeah I don't actually need air tools I'm realizing now. I screwed up and used the OEM nut on the Koni strut threads and it cocked up the thread. I ended up installing the remaining new strut but now have a brand new strut with messed up threads.

I don't know if a tap and die set will work to rethread the strut. It will probably just spin the rod. This might be a $170 hard lesson.
