But yeah go get a tune!!!! adam from map makes amazing tunes, you wont believe its the same car, i promise. Best 500 bucks ive spent on a car ever
No need to convince me. As I mentioned above, I already ordered a MAP tune. I was just curious if it would be worth it to run an after market dp, if the cat back is still stock. Sounds like I'll be just fine. Hell, maybe I'll go sleeper mode and keep the stock exhaust forever... nah, probably not :)

Going sleeper wouldn't be bad at all.

I have a MAP off road DP on the modified stock catback. Resonator delete. Vibrant straight thru mufflers with Vibrant tips. I often get compliments on the sound. And it is hard for me to imagine that an aftermarket catback could offer enough increase in power over the modified stock catback to justify spending up to $1000. Cost vs +HP just doesn't seem to be there to me.

So, I ordered my MAP tune today and always like to plan a couple mods ahead. Next will definitely be MAP intercooler and charge pipes. After that I am thinking catted down pipe. But, I am curious if the stock exhaust would become a major bottle neck after the higher flowing dp. I will get a cat back eventually, but it'll be a while due to the cost. So, is it worth upgrading the dp before the cat back, or should I save up and do both at the same time? I'll most likely be going with MAP all around.
Can't speak for Mustang, but I just notice with my Audi, the HFC enhances the sound and it adds a bit of a performance punch...

Should get Catbacks and a DP-Y pipe... we'll see, just no major problems on my end the past 30ish-k miles
