Seeing as how the GT is more of a supercar, can anyone see a market for a coupe priced to compete with the Corvette and Cayman? People would probably riot at the thought of a Cobra being updated with modern tech. Maybe a Thunderbird done right?

Maybe keep the Voodoo alive in this car with Magnaride, leather and nav standard. It would need to have luggage space that rivals the Vette.

What do you guys think it would need? If Ford should even attempt?

It's a great idea but probably wouldn't sell enough of them to keep the cost down.

Take the classic 1957 T-Bird. Update the shape, modernize it (like the recent 'stangs). Add the mechanicals from the new GT (V8, suspension, brakes). Make it a retractable hard top, 2 seater only. Put a price of $50,000 on it.

I'd buy one in a heartbeat.
