A tale of three Mustangs

I sold my black 2007 GT/CS convertible today. She had been my daily driver for eight years, and I'm going to miss her dearly. But it was time for a new car. Still, it was bittersweet to say goodbye.

As fate would have it, my 2015 GT premium magnetic convertible arrived at the dealership late this afternoon -- six days ahead of schedule. I'll pick her up Monday, assuming all goes well with a pricing issue we need to resolve.

In the meantime, I'm driving a rental car -- a 2015 V6 black convertible. It's been fun to drive this one around today, knowing I'll be in my very own version in just a couple of days.

My BMW 328 convertible was my DD for the last eight years. I had the top down all the time. My record was 19 days in a row without putting it back up! (no garage). Friends, co workers used to laugh at me. Sold it when I got my 2015 and all I heard was "you're not getting a convertible?". Miss my vert :(
