Extended Warranty From Granger Motors

Has anyone ordered the extended warranty from Zach at Granger? It sounds pretty good. 6 year total and they cover the Roush Supercharger. I think that's a good thing.

Is it a Ford ESP? If so double check pricing at online dealers like Flood Ford. If Zack is offering the Ford warranty at a reasonable cost I cannot see any reason for not doing it. Remember you have until the end of your 3/36 to do it although it may cost more at that time.

Flood will not cover the Roush SC. I belive the Granger ESP is backed by Athos. They will cover driver caused damage like slamming on the brakes and your coffee mug shooting out and smashing the Nav screen. They will replace that.

None of the Ford-backed Extended warranty plans will cover the car after the Supercharger is put on. We've already had members post the exact wording from Ford Esp, clarifying. Read very carefully, as it could be your dealership is not aware of this. Now if your dealership has some kind of their "own" plan, that might be different...but that would be a long drive for you Matthew.

If it is a Ford plan, fine. If it is a 3rd party plan, you may want a lawyer to look it over. To say that many of these plans are sketchy is an understatement. They al look good up front but when it actually comes time to use them, watch out. One of the biggest consumer scams out there.

We have used Ethos to cover our vehicles because they give us flexibility to cover items like the supercharger. We've used them for close to 15 years without issues and I'll stand behind it.

We wouldn't sell something that does not cover our customers.

Hi Zach, I had no doubt that your warranties are legitimate. It's just that there are so many bad ones out there I wanted Matthew to be 100% Informed. I do think that it is still smart to read any warranty from cover to cover and ask questions about anything you are not sure about.

I certainly understand and 100% agree. There are a lot that are designed with multiple loopholes.

We have done vetting on ours and found a great partner.

Yes, the coverage is nationwide at any ASE certified facility or Ford dealership.
