Anyone have any luck getting the A/C Drive belt on a ATI Harmonic Super Damper? The method used for the stock pulley will not work on a ATI damper. Suggestions?
Okay, apparently the zip tie method works. Remove one of the three bolts that secure the A/C pulley to the harmonic balancer. Push a zip tie through the bolt hole and pull the slack on the reverse side up so that you have access to it, but don't lock it. Feed the A/C Drive belt behind the harmonic balancer so that it rests against the crankshaft itself. Feed the slack around the ribs of the A/C pulley. Tightly secure the zip tie with the A/C drive belt inside (make sure that you have a bit of the belt sitting in the groves of the pulley). Rotate the crank pulley clockwise until the belt pops into place.
